  • Kikusui's founded

    KIKUSUI was founded in the late Edo period(1603-1868 CE)
    as a "restaurant" along the main street.

  • Kikusui in Meiji era(1868-1912)

    In the "Yanagawa Shimpo" of August 1911, there was an article advertising "Narazuke".

    ※ "Tatsuta Shoten" is the predecessor of Kikusui.

  • Yanagawa Castle in the past

    Yanagawa Castle was destroyed by fire in 1872.
    In the photo that remains in Kikusui, there are two figures in the center that look like towns-people.

    This is the transition of the Tsuji-machi "Odoriyama" floats from 1953 to 2019.
